I'm excited that we'll be playing in the WCC. You have a great conference and hopefully we can all work together to get the conference to the next level. I was in attendance and cheering in 2003 for San Diego when you guys nearly knocked off Stanford in the first round of the tournament. I'm happy to be in a conference that works together rather than trying to tear each other down. There's way too much in-fighting in the MWC. I have a hard time thinking that the conference would add JUST BYU and not pair it with someone... right? I would prefer to add a school that has been Division 1 for more than 20 minutes and actually has an idea of where they are going/what they want to be. BYU is exploring a plan to leave the Mountain West Conference, go independent for football and join the WAC for all other sports. </p> <p>The Mountain West has since offered Fresno State and Nevada invitations to the MWC. If that happens, the WAC would only have 6 schools left.
