ALCALA PARK (3-18-12) — A pair of East County football players have signed to continue their education and football careers at the University of San Diego.
Running back DARRION HANCOCK (5-9, 185) of the state champion Helix Highlandersm was a member of the All-East County Sports.com first team in 2011. He rushed for 1,326 years for a 7.4 average and scored 22 touchdowns. He finished with 144 points overall.
Mount Miguel Matadors defensive back HENRY INGRAM (5-10, 170) tied for the East County lead in interceptions with five and was a fierce tackler for the Grossmont Valley League champions.
