Anyone one to give a good summary of the game?
USD 66, Alcorn State 65. Darian Norris hit game-winner with 25 seconds to go.
I guess Alcorn isn't exactly a powerhouse, but any bright spots?
Any insight into the game vs. New Orleans as well?

I listened to the Alcorn State and Tulane games. We are not playing well right now, especially coming out in the 2nd half. Alcorn St. is really bad and we should have blown them out. Tulane is a better team than the Toreros, but we should not have lost by 20 points (Tulane has 2 pretty good bigs that we could not defend without Gabriel).
There are definitely bright spots though and it is tough to play 3-games in 3 days. Young teams need practice time - hopefully they can re-group with a full week of practice and win at UC Irvine on Saturday.
We are REALLY, REALLY missing Chris Gabriel - I wish there was a way to reinstate him. Manresa is going to have a decent year but I'm not sure he is a "number 1" option. He seems to play much better reacting to action than creating his own shots. If Gabriel were in the lineup this year, I think Manresa would have posted big numbers. It kind of sucks for Manresa without Gabriel - Kramer is tall but much more suited to playing outside, Fajemisin doesn't look like he'll have any impact and Sinis is a wing player. Without Gabriel, Manresa is all alone down there when he expected to have Gabriel all year.
As the schedule gets tougher wins are going to be harder to come by. 10 wins may be it.
