   2 point favorites at Pepperdine tonight. It would be nice to see us close out the first half of WCC play with a W.

   Game is on Fox Sports Prime Ticket for anyone that gets it (I think most of Southern California).

   honestly, i don't know how we could be favored against anyone, home or away, the rest of the year. we are in last place for a reason.

   I'm surprised too, gousd. Only 6.5 point dogs vs. Gonzaga, 1 point dogs at LMU, and 2 point faves at Pepperdine? Vegas must love us for some reason......maybe we'll finally cover one of these games for a change!

   Not sure why the game isn't on ChannelSurfing.net.....

   Anyways, up 6 at half. Offensively, we've actually looked pretty good outside of the initial stretch when Pepperdine switched to their zone. We've had a lot of success working the ball down low (can't remember the last time I've said that) and shown some nice ball movement for the most part. Keion Bell has 2 fouls and has only played 12 minutes or so....if we can control him in the 2nd, we have a good shot at pulling this out.

   WOW!!! I knew Rancifer was my new favorite player when me and ereiz watched the gonzaga game. We had talked about how we need some one who can dunk with authority and Rancifer just showed us off the ally oop from BJ over a pepperdine player.

    REALLY impressive 2nd half....

    -The BJ to Rancifer alley oop over Mychal Thompson was one of the sweetest plays I've seen a Torero make in a long time.
    -The D looks GREAT....love the quick hands of BJ and Miles.
    -Manresa, as has been mentioned before, is a beast.
    -Love the energy from BJ. It's been a while since I've seen him give such a strong effort on both ends.
    -Maybe Grier should wear an athletic shirt and tennis shoes every game.
    -Pepperdine continues to have one of the weirdest looking mascots that I have ever seen.

    That was the kind of game we have all been hoping for. Awesome to see the frosh step it up. Manresa with a double-double, 5 steals from Miles and a monster dunk from Rancifer. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, happy for the team and coaches. Lets build on this

    miracle in malibu... did pepperdine even show up or did we finally play up to our potential? another miracle as usf beats the zags. i only hope our momentum continues in the second half of conference play and into the tourney (wcc that is).

    This is a really good game for our team to win. Not only because it is against the 4th place team, but because now it still gives us an outside chance at getting the 4 seed for the WCC Tournament. Just being realistic, our only chance at making a postseason tournament at this point is probably going to the WCC Championship game and I want this young team to get postseason experience, even if it is just NIT or an alternative tournament to the NCAA's.

    For this game, it was great to see Manresa break out. I am happy he did it against, Pepperdine. I think we could easily reach the semi finals after watching this game. The Top 3 in the WCC is pretty much etched in stone, but everything below is up for grabs. I would love nothing more then to see this team go on a little win streak.

    5 of our last 7 games are at home - Zags and Pilots on the road and everyone else at home.....it's amazing what a win can do for the fans and players sometimes!
