   Wow, I can't believe they lost that game to USF.

   First off, we were up huge in the first 10 minutes and then Grier takes out everyone but BJ only to give up the lead. Why replace 4 starters when things were going so well?

   But really, this team is just snake bitten. I mean for SD to lose that game, they had to turn the ball over a ton, miss a ton of free throws, have USF hit every possible shot and then not get a foul call when BJ intentionally wrapped the guy up just before their little guard hit another frieking corner 3. And on top of that DJ went out with an ankle injury and you have to imagine he would have run the point better than the alternative.

   Walton, Grier, the bald coach - their faces said it all: This team is literally snake bitten.

   Tangential Fan is out of here...

   I agree with Tangential fans analysis of the game. Grier should not have pulled four starters with a 12 point lead. I understand pulling two or three but to completely take the team out makes little sense. One point that I have made all year is that BJ should be running the point. Whenever he brings the ball up it stays in our posession. BJ is the best scorer, passer, and defender not only on the current team, but in the history of the program. Grier having him run off the ball is such a waste, especially given his drive and dish ability. As for last nights game: Free Throws. Manresa and BJ really killed us at the end. We would have won that game if we had hit our free throws.

   I wouldn't say that we blew the lead in the first half because of Grier replacing four starters. We were still up 7 at the break, which is about the same as what the lead was for most of the half. Grier rotated in guys like Miles, Rancifer, and Crescencio....I have no problem with that.

   DJ went out with a knee injury....cruciate ligament it appears. Miles apparently had a fever and couldn't play in the 2nd. Obviously having either of those two available beats the alternative (Ginty), but not a whole lot you can do.

   This has been one weird season, though, and I guess that "snake-bitten" is one way to explain it.

   Honestly cut because they literally do nothing to benefit this team.

   Lucky for us at the end of the year Lewis & Mafra are gone, but unfortunately we lose BJ and De'Jon as well.

   Gives us a team of Vozzola, Simi, Kramer, Fuller, Dorr, Gabriel, Mackie, Manresa, McCollum, Miles, Rancifer, Ginty, Harbour, Woolpert, Mancasola and Crescencio, with a chance we land Joaquim, A PG named Stevie Rogers, and Okonji from Findlay Prep. We are going to throw very large lineups at teams next year, so honestly lets just start looking forward to the 2010-2011 season.
