Wow Grier really? You take out BJ when he is 2 points from breaking the USD scoring record? Can someone explain that one? I know BJ was sick, but now what makes me sick is the fact that he is going to break the record in Portland.

not that it really changes things as he won't b breaking the record at home but didn't he need 11 points to break it and didn't he end up with only 6? just curious.
my sympathies/condolences are with de'jon and bj as both of them are warriors who have now suffered awful injuries in trying to help the team. they will both be missed in the coming seasons and always remembered for their contributions in that miracle run 2 years ago. go toreros...

Seriously, that DJ video, I watched it over and over again today.
Honestly it all started the day Grier suspended Trumaine before the UNLV game. I swear if Grier had never suspended TJ, we would have killed UNLV on their homecourt, but instead Ginty started and we all know what has happened since then.
De'Jon and BJ were very loyal and true Toreros. It is just unfortunate that the guys around them didn't have as much Torero-pride, otherwise we would be making consistent runs to the NCAA tourney. I expect BJ to easily find a job playing basketball in Europe and the D-League may even be an option. Unfortunately I think De'Jon's ACL is toast, so I don't see much of a pro future for him. He was one heck of a Torero though and one of only a handful of college players that can say they hit a game-winning shot in the NCAA tournament.
