   Is anyone else questioning Bill Grier once again this morning when they wake up? It seems all season long its just another mistake, after another mistake and another.

   Mistake No. 1 last night: WHY DIDN'T GRIER START BJ?
   Mistake No. 2 last night: WHY PUT GINTY ON VINEY EVER?
   Mistake No. 3 last night: 20 LOSSES ALL ON GRIERS SHOULDERS
   Mistake No. 4 last night: DORR GETTING MORE MINUTES THAN BJ

   I can keep going on, and if I listed them out every game this season this message board would be on overload.

   I'll say this much, If Grier fails next season, he will be done. This team, with the fragile fan base it has, cannot afford another 9-20 season. Other than that Tournament we have against Butler, Baylor, etc. we will probably also have a lot less challenging of a schedule next season, which I think hurts us.

   Anyways here's to Grier waking up and starting BJ, McCollum, Rancifer, Lewis, Manresa in the WCC Tournament!

   I'm done with Grier, he is what he is. Why did he not start BJ? I guess in his mind the kid just doesn't deserve it. I mean he is the only breakout player you have, better he sit. I just can't see what the money Grier is being paid is getting. At least Holland played in the NBA and had a ring. That was some kind of draw for players. The only thing Grier is drawing on is a fortunate tourney win two years ago. These freshman next year better be better than advertised, or they and Grier are going to have a miserable time together.

   Positives - much better scheduling / much better recruitting

   Negatives - can't seem to relate to players AT ALL / needs to learn how to lead and teach instead of yell at and embarrass his players / transfers and poor recruitting choices have killed the team's development (Jones, Johnson, Lozeau, Braswell) / the two biggest stars in recent history - Gyno and BJ - both leaving the program with a sour taste in their mouths.

   This isn't the most talented team, but there is no way we should have a 20-loss season with this roster. Absolutely embarrassing for the coach, school, players and program. Something is obviuosly broken. I think Snyder gives Grier 2 more years to turn things around - but he'll need to show at least some improvement next year to make it to year 5.

   Does anybody else think Mccollum has a horrible basketball IQ? Hes got some serious potential and can break just about anyone down off the dribble, however, his turnovers are just terrible. Hopefully he can get himself under control because hes got the potential to the best point in the league. If he doesnt improve I say just slide him over to the two and let him score off the dribble going to the basket.

   while u r at it might as well mention that they sliced open our zone and grier kept going back to it and they made us pay every time.

   viney was not challenged tight enough. he is good but would get chewed up and spit out in the nba. in fact he couldnt be a big factor in any powerhouse programs at ncaa level. one of the best in wcc tho.

    Well, I hope they can play nice at least for one more day.

    I'm looking forward to a long standing ovation for BJ on senior night and hopefully a good game for him in his last home game. It would be a shame if either caused trouble.

    Sometimes ignorance is bliss. We all want to point fingers because this season has been a disaster in pretty much every way. The thing that posts like this is that Grier wants to win more then anyone who posts on this board, and he knows basketball better as well. BJ has been as fun to watch as anyone to put on a USD jersey, Grier is not starting him on the bench for a reason though. As much as well all respect BJ and what he has done for the program, I see nothing to indicate he hasn't checked out. Obviously this is not the way him or Grier wanted the season to go, but it is time for everyone to move on

    Listen - I played college athletics and got benched to end my senior year. Nothing is worse than getting betrayed by your coach and BJ straight up got betrayed. Having watched 9 games in person, I can only conclude one thing - Grier can't run an offense, can't substitute worth a darn and can't get his team to respond in the last 5 minutes of the game. How many games were in the balance with 5 to go? 10 or 12? And no matter how urgent we needed points, we still would take 25 seconds off the clock while running grier's princeton without the cutting offense - the only time we ever would shoot early in the clock was if BJ pulled up from three.

    If you guys aren't familiar with the hilarious heckler that sits midway up on the far side of the court, then you shouldn't be posting - if you don't watch the games in person, then don't post. And if you do watch the games in person, try and refute what I have said with any legitimacy - quite simply, you can't.
